Come Sing with Us!

Spirit of the Lakes Chorus was formed in 2002 when several singers from the southeastern Wisconsin area joined with the Chain O' Lakes Chorus from Crystal Lake Illinois.  Under the co-direction of Joe and Kay Liles, this fun bunch of women have been entertaining crowds ever since.

If you’re a woman who likes to sing, we want to meet you!  We’re part of an international organization of women devoted to the joy of singing four-part harmony, barbershop style. 

Get ready to sing, laugh, meet other women who share your love of singing, and have a good time. 

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM in Horticultural Hall, 330 Broad Street, in Lake Geneva Wisconsin.

   Sweet Adelines International

In the summer of 1945 a group of women in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who wanted to enjoy and participate in the "chord-ringing" fun of barbershop harmony, organized Sweet Adelines in America.  Today, there are over 30,000 members world-wide, with more than 600 choruses in 13 countries including Australia, Canada, and Sweden.

From the very beginning, the purpose of Sweet Adelines International has been to educate its members in the art of singing four-part harmony in the barbershop style.

The Spirit of the Lakes Chorus is the Sweet Adelines Chorus from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
