At the Region 22 Competition and Convention held in Appleton, WI, on May 18-19, 2013, Spirit of the Lakes Chorus was awarded the medal for 2nd Place Small Chorus, AND our score of 541 makes us the 16th place small chorus in the entire Sweet Adelines world! |
The Spirit of the Lakes Chorus is a women's chorus which performs a cappella four-part harmony. We have great directors, we love to sing, we laugh alot, and we have become great friends on our musical journey. Get ready to sing, laugh, and meet other women who share your love of singing.
We are an award-winning chorus! As part of Sweet Adelines International, we compete annually in our Regional competition, and we often come home with medals to recognize our achievements. (In Sweet Adelines lingo, "small chorus" is defined as 15-30 members.) See the "News" box at the left for the results of the 2013 competition. We meet every Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the historic Horticultural Hall, 330 Broad Street, in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
